Handmade crafts, books, cards, textiles, bags, sheepskins, jams

The Spring Festival Shop pops up in the farmyard barns for four weeks each year. As far as possible we stock items made / produced / published on the farm or locally – including crafts and works of art by makers and artists taking part in the Festival Exhibition and Open Studios.

Products include : hand turned wooden bowls; locally made elm and oak chopping boards; woollen blankets and throws; sheepskins; jewellery; books; cards; hand-forged kitchen knives; walking sticks; apple juices; jams; cards; books; pottery; baskets; bags; stools.

The Shop also sells a wonderful selection of books by writers who have taken part in the Festival’s Writing at Great Glemham residency projects. As a new development for 2020, we are also launching Festival Programmes and a growing collection of Festival Editions for sale in the Shop. The Programme book presents poetry, writing and images from this year’s Festival. The Festival Editions are unique works commissioned from guest artists to mark each year’s theme.

The Festival Shop is closed for Spring 2020.

Some of our suppliers include artisan makers taking part in this year’s online Open Studios – please visit these for beautiful selections of pottery, jewellery, handmade bags, purses, wallets; handmade herbal soaps and shampoo bars; hand forged chef’s knives and foraging knives; wool work; wood turning; hand made chairs; decorative arts and paintings. All for sale – and bespoke orders / commissions also taken.

We will be opening an online Festival Shop later in the year.
